We asked a group of different professionals who use our offices, lounges, meeting rooms or event space why coworking is the right choice for them.
David Ĺ pinar
David Ĺ pinar, after almost twenty years in internet business and marketing, where he worked as a sales director of the Czech and Slovak Google and co-founded the digital agency H1.cz, he now works as the CEO of the Czech investment group Miton. He praised the inspiring environment and the interaction with people, which he says is enriching and supports effective communication and innovation. Ĺ pinar also highlighted the similarity between Google offices and WorkLounge, where people can meet, solve different problems and inspire each other, which he says is invaluable.
Tomáš TĹ™eštĂk
Tomáš TĹ™eštĂk is a popular Czech photographer, known for photographing famous personalities on his balcony on Letná. In addition, he is also engaged in advertising photography for magazines such as Reflex and ReportĂ©r magazĂn. He started taking photos already at the gymnasium, where he was actively involved in the creation of the school magazine. Through FAMU, he got into shooting TV commercials and gained a lot of experience in the digital era. TĹ™eštĂk emphasizes that being a photographer is not only about technical skills, but also about social interactions and personal interests. According to him, advertising and the photography industry have changed significantly with the advent of digitization and social networks, but portrait photography remains important. Despite the great interest in cooperation, TĹ™eštĂk only devotes himself to those that give meaning to his personal and professional life. His work schedule has changed over time, today he mainly works early in the morning, which gives him peace and space for creative activity. He also appreciated the WorkLounge coworking environment, which provides him with an inspiring place to meet and work with other professionals, which he considers very rewarding.
Jan Onder
Jan Onder, the winner of StarDance, also known from the show Dance Games with Honza Onder on Czech Television's DĂ©ÄŤka, runs courses for youth and adults and lives by dancing. In the Karlin coworking space WorkLounge, he appreciated the presence of a parquet floor, which immediately piqued his interest, and highlighted the pleasant environment. His working day is very variable, it includes the preparation of scenarios, choreography and cooperation with the modern theater Studio Ypsilon. Despite her success in StarDance and other TV projects, she still keeps fit and emphasizes that dance is a demanding art that requires constant training. Onder wanted to be famous from a young age, and dancing allowed him to realize this dream. After winning StarDance, he realized that dancing could be his livelihood. Now he plans to film his own show and create a dance-theatre performance. He wrote a book of modern fairy tales with his mother, which was another creative challenge for him. His greatest joy is the diversity of his activities, which allows him to constantly discover new challenges and projects. He likes WorkLounge not only because of the floor, but also because of the inspiring and dynamic environment that supports creativity and meeting other professionals.
Janek Rubeš
Investigative documentary filmmaker Janek Rubeš, known from the internet shows Prague vs. prachy and Honest Guide, appreciated the WorkLounge coworking environment, where he likes the pleasant atmosphere and the opportunity to meet inspiring people. Janek, who tries to spend as much time as possible outside and on the street, appreciates the dynamic environment and shared stories that WorkLounge offers. Although he usually works alone or in small teams, a coworking environment provides him with a creative and stimulating environment that inspires him to create more.
Jiřà Král
Jiřà Král, influencer, streamer and former YouTuber, whose videos have reached millions of views, now leads the marketing agency SocialPark, which for many years was based in the Karlin coworking space WorkLounge. Jiřà appreciates the coworking atmosphere, where he is not alone and can work in a lively environment, which motivates him. He finds the idea of ​​working alone in an apartment office depressing, while the bustle and people working around him in the WorkLounge energizes him. In addition, he can use large and beautiful spaces for filming here, which would not be possible in any other environment.
Martin Žufánek
Martin Žufánek is the most visible face of the Žufánek family distillery and promoter of pure natural spirits. Although his original profession was metalworking, he and his family decided to focus on legal distillery. At WorkLounge, he appreciates the inspiring environment that encourages creativity and allows him to focus on work. Martin is inspired by global gastro trends and street food bistros, which leads him to create unique products such as his famous absinthe and OMFG gin. This dynamic space provides him with ideal conditions for the development of his business and allows him to meet other creative professionals.
Maxim Habanec
Maxim Habanec is a Czech professional skateboarder, four-time champion of the Czech Republic and the first ever Czech to win the World Cup. He is currently considered the most popular and recognized Czech skateboarder. In addition to sports, Max also supports business, he co-founded the online skate shop Cranes, is one of the owners of the MaxSpace skateboarding hall, and creates and produces videos for social networks. At WorkLounge, he appreciates the inspiring environment that supports productivity and offers the opportunity to meet other professionals. The workspace motivates him, which is important to him because he doesn't like routine. WorkLounge allows him to combine computer work with training and filming, which would not be possible in any other environment.
Pavel Kacerle
Pavel Kacerle is a visual effects specialist who has worked for well-known Hollywood studios such as Marvel, Lucasfilm and VFX studios. His work has been seen in films such as Jurassic Park, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Iron Man 3. At WorkLounge, he appreciates the inspiring environment that promotes productivity and allows him to focus on his work. Having gained extensive experience abroad, Pavel is now working on a unique Live Penalty project that connects the real world with the digital world by allowing users to control a robot in a real stadium via a mobile phone. Petra Fundová is a long-time director of the Burda media house and is considered the first lady of luxury Czech lifestyle magazines. Her titles such as Elle, Marie Claire, Marianne or gastronomic Apetit reach over 1.1 million people every month. Forbes magazine listed her several times as one of the most influential women in the Czech Republic, including this year. In the WorkLounge, he appreciates the mix of open and closed spaces that support creativity and productivity.
